Welcome to TLET Sixth Form's Houlton Campus

Houlton is a special place. With its unique heritage, inspirational setting and state-of-the-art facilities, it is a place where young people can grow, discover what they are capable of and look ahead with confidence. As part of the TLET Sixth Form, our Sixth Form students are an important part of our school community and help shape the culture, character and future of our ever-growing school and community.

Our Sixth Form is built around innovation, aspiration and excellence. We want our students to enjoy their time with us, to be challenged to think differently, to develop their independence and to leave Houlton ready to take their next steps in the world.

We hold high expectations for every Sixth Form student in our care. We believe that every young person has the potential to achieve great things, and we will provide the support, challenge and opportunities they need to flourish.

We empower students to achieve their best academically  and to develop a lifelong love of learning. Sixth Form is a chance to study subjects in greater depth, develop independence and discover the areas that truly inspire them.

We inspire high aspirations , encouraging our students to think boldly about their future and to pursue the opportunities that are right for them, whether that is a top university, a competitive degree apprenticeship or another ambitious pathway.

We prepare our students for life beyond school , developing the confidence, character and key employability skills they need to succeed. Through leadership, careers and personal development opportunities, students will be encouraged to take responsibility, make informed choices and become ready for the wider world.

We value community, and we expect our Sixth Form students to play an active role in the life of Houlton. Through leadership, mentoring, volunteering and initiatives such as Reading Buddies and Duke of Edinburgh, our students will have the opportunity to make a difference to others and to pay it forward.

We are excited to welcome our students to this next chapter of the Houlton journey. As our Sixth Form grows, they will not simply be joining an established community;  they will help us to shape it.
